Let us continue with the remaining High Power-to-Weight Ratio Bikes
2015 HONDA RC213V
(215 hp ÷ 160 kg = 1.344 hp/kg)

Ultra-expensive, ultra-exotic, ultra-desirable, the RC213V is as close as you can get to the MotoGP bike. In street guise, it’s detuned to 160 bhp, but with the race-only “Sports Kit” in, power is pushed up to 215 hp and sounds exactly like what Señor Marquez and Pedrosa ride on the weekends.
2017 DUCATI PANIGALE 1299 SUPERLEGGERA
(215 hp ÷ 156 kg = 1.378 hp/kg)

“Superleggera” means superlight. It was the lightest sportbike before the S 1000 RR HP4 Race too over the reins. The Superleggera uses a carbon monocoque, wheels and bodywork, besides magnesium alloy engine covers. At 215 hp, it is the most powerful V-Twin ever made. And the most expensive, too.
BMW S 1000 RR HP4 RACE
(215 hp ÷ 146 kg = 1.472 hp/kg)
BMW S 1000 RR HP4 Race
Ducati had the sportbike fraternity’s eyes widen when they launched the Panigale Superleggera, proudly pounding their chests and proclaiming it as the lightest production motorcycle. Well, BMW showed them up with the S 1000 RR HP4 Race. The engine has been tuned to 215 hp while carbon frame, bodywork and wheels brought the weight down. The swingarm’s made by chassis specialist Suter.
2015 KAWASAKI NINJA H2R
(326 hp ÷ 193 kg = 1.689 hp/kg)

Kawsaki’ brief in creating the Ninja H2R was to awaken a “sleeping motorcycle industry” and they weren’t subtle about it. The Ninja H2R’s 1000cc inline-Four is supercharged to produce 310 hp and with ram air effect it hits 326 hp. Next, Kawasaki’s engineers got rid of extra weight and the result is an astounding power-to-weight ratio.
MTT 420 RR
(420 hp ÷ 195 kg = 2.154 hp/kg)

How do you produce even more power? How about stuffing in a jet turbine from a helicopter? And yes, it’s a production bike – Jay Leno owns one of the previous MTT Y2K. Each is made to order and astronomically expensive. The “420” number in its name denotes the number of horsepower it makes but if that’s not mad enough, there’s the 810 Nm of torque.
